Ride A Pet Cherub & Black Hole Egg Locations

Both Ethereal eggs — Cherub and Black Hole — spawn in the same set of locations across all biomes. When one spawns, a screen announcement appears; these routes help you reach it first.

The spawn spots

AreaWhere to check
Giant TreeSmall room on top of the tree + slightly lower branches
CaveInside the cave behind the waterfall
Outside the caveOn cliffs behind and to the left of the cave opening
Forest / Desert cliffTwo spots on the cliff at the edge of the Forest biome (right side of the beach)
PyramidInside the pyramid in the Desert biome (left side of the map)
MazeCorners of the maze; enter via the pond next to the Pyramid

Why some guides say 12 or 16 locations

Those counts can describe individual coordinates inside the same six search areas rather than six completely different biomes. The reliable, cross-checked answer here is the area route: Giant Tree, waterfall cave, the cliffs outside the cave, the Forest/Desert cliff, Pyramid and maze. Treat a numbered spot list as a route aid, not a promise that an egg is live at every coordinate; check the in-game announcement and Track before committing to a sweep.

Fastest route practice

  • Equip your fastest flying pet — the Phoenix is documented as the ideal one; ground pets must fight through obstacles and obby courses.
  • Start at the Giant Tree (top room, then lower branches), then the Cave, then the cliffs, then Pyramid, then the maze.
  • If you can afford it, the Eternal Radar ($30M) points straight to every current Ethereal egg — see radars.
  • Spawn announcements name only the egg (Cherub or Black Hole), so knowing all six spots matters: the egg is only in one of them.

Finding routes to the areas

  • Giant Tree — behind the Sell Shop at the central plot, walk straight to the tree, climb to the top.
  • Cave — behind the Track Shop, follow the river upstream to the waterfall; the cave is behind it.
  • Desert / Pyramid — left side of the map; the pond next to the pyramid leads to the maze.
FAQ

FAQ

Common questions about this topic.

Where do Cherub and Black Hole eggs spawn?

They spawn in the same six areas in all biomes: Giant Tree, Cave (and its outside cliffs), the Forest/Desert cliff, the Pyramid, and the maze corners.

Are there 12 or 16 Blackhole Egg locations?

Some community guides count individual coordinates while others group them into six search areas. Use the six-area route as the stable answer, and treat numbered coordinates as optional route detail that can change with the map or update.

When do they spawn?

An on-screen announcement tells you when one has spawned — you then have to be fast (multiple players hunt the same egg).

What is the best pet for this?

A fast flying pet; the Phoenix is documented as ideal because it skips ground obstacles.

Is the Eternal Radar worth it?

At $30M it is expensive, but it points directly to every current Ethereal egg and removes the need to race to check all six spots.

Do both eggs spawn at the same time?

The routes are identical, but spawns are announced per egg — the announcement tells you which one to hunt.
