When to Rebirth in Ride A Pet
Rebirth is worth it when you meet the requirements and can rebuild quickly. This page turns the verified requirements into a readiness check.
The three readiness gates
- Pet gate — do you have the required pet? (Horse → Fox → Unicorn → Phoenix → Kitsune → Kitsune → Dragon; hatch chances on pets).
- Cash gate — do you have the exact cash requirement? (Verified: $1M, $50M, $2.5B, $125B, $6.2T, $325T, $50Qa).
- Rebuild gate — can you recover your income quickly after the reset (cash + luck are lost)? If it takes hours to rebuild, waiting for a mutation or better pet first is usually smarter.
When to wait
- You would reset right before a weather event you can use — keep your exposure first.
- You sit close to the next rebirth pet (e.g. a required pet hatching soon) — but note rebirths are sequential; you must do them in order.
- You have no rebuilding base: after reset, your income collapses, so pre-reset upgrades that survive the reset matter. Re-verify what survives the reset in game.
When to go
- All three gates pass and the +1x multiplier buys back your reset time in minutes instead of hours.
- You are stacking towards the next pet slot: each rebirth adds +1 slot, so more rebirths = more earning pets.
- You have spent your luck (it resets anyway) and only kept the cash you need to rebuild.
